Lund Humphries' Partnerships
Many Lund Humphries books are published in partnership with
other organisations worldwide and we are interested in developing
new opportunities for collaboration. Our existing partnerships
include:
- Co-publications with museums internationally, whereby we
produce and distribute a publication to accompany an exhibition, or
based around a museum collection;
- Worldwide distribution of publications produced by museums
internationally, or distribution within a particular territory –
for a single book or a list of books;
- Collaboration with an artist’s gallery to produce a monograph
or catalogue of the artist’s work;
- Collaboration with an educational or research institution to
commission and publish books for the student and
professional/academic markets.
Our museum partners include the British Museum, London Transport
Museum, the National Portrait Gallery, London, The Hepworth,
Wakefield, Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, Pallant House Gallery,
Chichester, Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam, National Gallery of Art,
Washington DC, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and Powerhouse Museum,
Sydney.
Our gallery partners include Advanced Graphics, Annely Juda Fine
Art, Beaux Arts, Jonathan Clark Fine Art, Osborne Samuel and the
Portland Gallery.
Our educational partners include Sotheby’s Institute of Art.
We can offer our partners:
- In-depth knowledge and experience of illustrated art-book
publishing, with a particular reputation within the field of Modern
and Contemporary British Art;
- Professional editorial and production expertise with our small,
hands-on Editorial and Production team. See How we Work for more
information;
- Worldwide marketing and distribution, to the general
book-trade, specialist sales outlets, institutional libraries and
directly to art professionals and academics. See our Guide to
Lund Humphries International Sales and Marketing for more
information;
- Through our parent company, the Ashgate Publishing Group,
access to related academic and professional markets across the
Humanities, Social Sciences and Business areas.
